What's the Best Way to Remove Your Makeup?
Removing your makeup at the end of the day seems like such a
basic task that you can't possibly need any advice on how to do it.
However, there are plenty of people out there who are doing
it wrong!
Whether it's the wrong products or the wrong technique, you
could be one of those mistaken people.
That's why we're sharing these 3 tips:
1. Don't bother
using a toner
Unless you have REALLY oily skin, that toner is doing you
more harm than good. You may think
it's stripping away every last bit of makeup, but it's really just stripping
away every last bit of moisture in your skin! Today's cleansers (like our makeup remover wipes) are strong
enough to break through every molecule of makeup and rinse it away -- without
dehydrating your face.
2. Make sure
you've got bacteria-fighting ingredients
These days, people seem more concerned about the fruity
scent in their makeup remover than what's actually IN it! However, you need to pay special
attention to the ingredients to make sure that you're wiping away bacteria, in
addition to all of the foundation and powder.
For example, our makeup remover wipes have Methylisothiazolinone and Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate in them -- which
not only kill bacteria, but prevent it from forming on your skin in the first
place!
3. Find out if you're actually conditioning your face
It's one thing to have a bunch of
bacteria-fighting ingredients, but removing your makeup should be a completely
healthy experience. That means it
should give your face a boost, instead of just stripping the makeup away!
For example, our makeup remover
wipes have Diethylhexyl Carbonate and Glycerin in them, both of which will
condition and moisturize your skin, in addition to just cleaning it.
