Self-Tanning Your Face Doesn't Have to Be Hard!

Self-Tanning Your Face Doesn't Have to Be Hard!

It seems like all of the self-tanning advice out there is for every part of your body EXCEPT your face.  But what are you supposed to do with bronzed arms and legs and a pasty face?

That's not natural-looking!

So, in order to make sure you wind up with a completely even sun-kissed glow, we've come up with 4 ways to make self-tanning your face easy and effective:

1.  Apply a little less than you think you need

Use our self-tanning towels very gently on your face.  The reason doesn't have anything to do with your delicate facial skin, though.  Instead, it's to prevent extra self-tanner from settling in any fine lines you may have and creating dark streaks.

After all, you probably work hard to REDUCE the appearance of those fine lines.  The last thing you need is to apply too much self-tanner and make them more noticeable than ever!

2.  Go easy on the acne treatments

If your cleansers and creams are tough enough to break through breakouts, they'll also be strong enough to dissolve your tan.  So, if you want to keep your summer glow, stay away from retinols and other powerful acne treatments.

3.  Don't forget the ears

If you've got long hair, be sure to pull all of it back before you unwrap one of our self-tanning towels.  After all, you may not see your ears when your hair is down, but when you put your hair in a ponytail on your next date, you don't want to expose a set of pasty ears!

4.  Tap into the power of Q-Tips

As easy as our self-tanning towels are to use, you might end up wiping a bit too much on certain parts of your face.  If too much tanning solution winds up in the crease of your nose or next to your hairline, you can correct the problem by wiping it away with a Q-Tip.  Consider it to be your "tan eraser"!
