3 Ways to Use Scented Towels on the Go

3 Ways to Use Scented Towels on the Go

Before we started ScentedTowel.com, we spent A LOT of time travelling -- so we know that being on the go can be an awful lot of work!  Whether you're driving or flying, it's easy to fall victim to heat, humidity, and fatigue.

If you hate that "icky" travel feeling, fear not!  We've come up with 3 creative ways to take full advantage of our scented towels anytime you're on the go:

1.  Use them for a rush hour pick-me-up

Stuck on the subway for what feels like hours on end -- and a sea of never-ending stops that aren't yours?  All you need to do is pull one of our scented towels out of your briefcase, give your face a pat, and breathe in.  In a matter of seconds, you'll go from feeling work weary to feeling fresh and rejuvenated!

2.  Have them on-hand for a gourmet drive-thru experience

Mom would hate to hear this, but if you're constantly shuttling back and forth to work and around town with the kids, you probably indulge in fast food meals more often than you should!  If your car has turned into a mobile dining room, our scented towels can help.  They'll help you clean off after a burger and fries (luckily, they're strong enough to wipe all of that grease off, without leaving your skin feeling irritated!).  And, they'll leave a fresh scent behind, instead of making you smell like pickles and fry seasoning for the rest of the day!

3.  Tuck them in your travel bag for a mid-tour boost

Heading to see what seems like the 3,000th set of ancient ruins of the day?  Give yourself some extra energy by pulling one of our scented towels out of your travel bag!  That way, you can spruce up before you check out the latest attraction -- and enjoy the end of your day as much as the beginning!

ScentedTowel.com Commemorating First Branded Product with 20% Discount

ScentedTowel.com Commemorating First Branded Product with 20% Discount

From now until August 30th, ScentedTowel.com will offer a 20% discount on all makeup remover wipe orders.

PRLog (Press Release) - Jul. 22, 2013 - TRACY, Calif. -- Two years after launching ScentedTowel.com, the team behind it is now celebrating another launch -- its first branded product.  In honor of its branded makeup remover wipes, ScentedTowel.com is selling them at a discounted rate from now until August 30th.

"We've come a long way in the past two years, but being able to launch our very first branded product is a very exciting step," says Carl Bayer, the owner of ScentedTowel.com.  "And, to be able to do it with our makeup remover wipes is even more exciting."

Like ScentedTowel.com's other products, the branded makeup remover wipes are made out of 100% cotton.  Each one is pre-moistened with an oil-free mixture of natural and synthetic ingredients that are designed to wipe skin clean and fight off bacteria.  Each one is individually wrapped in environmentally-friendly packaging so that they can be used on the go.

"We know people are using these wipes everywhere from the gym to on airplanes, so to see our name and logo all over the place is a dream come true," explains Bayer.

Bayer says he wants his customers to be just excited about the launch, so he is giving everyone who buys the makeup remover wipes a 20% discount.  To take advantage of the savings, customers simply have to type in the promo code "REMOVER" when they place their orders.

In addition to branding these makeup remover wipes with the ScentedTowel.com name, the ScentedTowel.com team is allowing corporate customers to make the wipes part of their own marketing efforts -- thanks to wholesale and private label opportunities.

"We know just how important branding these products is," says Bayer.  "That's why we want to give other businesses the same opportunity and exposure that we've created for our own business."

Why Go Unscented?

Why Go Unscented?

Here at ScentedTowel.com, we've worked hard to help our customers harness the power of different scents.  We've researched how different scents affect the brain and shared that knowledge with you.

So, why do we offer an unscented set of towels?

At first, this may seem a little contradictory to our mission.  After all, scents like lavender, lemon, peach, and mango can help give your brain a boost.  That way, you feel more cleaner AND rejuvenated!

However, we also know that unscented towels can work just as many wonders under the right circumstances, like:

-  You suffer from migraines

Lots of migraines are triggered by scent.  (We told you the nose was a powerful thing!)  If you're one of the millions of people who suffers from migraines, don't take the chance.  Instead, use unscented towels so that you can wind up refreshed AND migraine-free!

-  You don't want to smell like a sea of scents

The last thing you want is to smell like someone who was attacked by a bunch of employees at the perfume counter at the mall!  If you use great-smelling lotion, a powerful aftershave, or expensive perfume, you don't want to cover it up with the scent from our towels -- or worse, wind up smelling like a bunch of different things all jumbled up into one unmistakable stench!

-  You don't want to offend anyone

Make no mistake, we LOVE all of the scents in our towels!  (We've worked extra-hard to make sure they don't have that "fakey" smell.)  However, we also know that some people just don't like certain scents.  So, if you're thinking of buying a bunch of scented towels to hand out at your restaurant, go unscented.  That way, you won't offend a customer who happens to hate the smell of lavender, or a customer who's totally turned off by lemons.

We Love Cotton!

We Love Cotton!

If you take a look at the product pages on ScentedTowel.com, you'll see that we brag that each of our scented towels is made out of 100% cotton.

Why do we love cotton so much?  And, more importantly, how does our "cotton love" benefit you?

First and foremost, cotton is much better for the environment.  After all, those paper moist towelettes offer nothing but waste.  You use them once and throw them away!  Instead, our scented towels can be washed and reused as many times as you want.  (That sigh of relief you hear is coming from your local landfill!)

But that's not the only reason why we love cotton.  We also love it because:

-  It's hypoallergenic

Got sensitive skin?  It won't get irritated from one of our scented towels!  Cotton is soft and gentle enough to get your skin clean, without making it feel itchy, inflamed, or otherwise-assaulted afterwards.

-  It's durable

Even though it feels gentle on your skin, 100% cotton is tough enough to withstand years of washing.  No matter how many times you reuse our scented towels, you'll never have to worry about them disintegrating into a thin "sandpapery" mess or forming those little "balls" in the washing machine that feel rough on your skin.

-  It's absorbent

Whether you've just finished a marathon workout at the gym or an ACTUAL marathon, you need a way to wipe off all of the sweat and grime that's built up on your skin.  Thanks to the absorbency of 100% cotton, you can get all of that "gunk" off, without scrubbing your skin raw!

Scented Towels -- Luxury in the Middle of Disaster!

Scented Towels -- Luxury in the Middle of Disaster!

We may be smack in the middle of the "Dog Days of Summer", but we're also smack in the middle of hurricane season.  Tornadoes and wildfires have a tendency to creep up on us this time of year, too.  Plus, things like mudslides and earthquakes can occur anytime, so we can't let our guard down, even in these lazy days of summer.

Bottom line -- Mother Nature can quickly and unexpectedly wreak havoc on our homes, businesses, and neighborhoods!  That means you need to be prepared for anything that comes your way.

For those of us who have been through more electricity-less days than we care to count, we know just how important a scented towel can be.  After all, no electricity means no hot water -- which means a freezing cold shower!  (And that's assuming the water is safe to bathe in, in the first place!)

If disaster strikes, you're going to want SOME way to feel clean, refreshed, and rejuvenated, which is why you need to include some scented towels in your emergency kit!

It may not seem all that important right now, but after the worst happens, the "little things" can mean the most.  After days of cleaning up, you're going to crave something soothing.  Since hopping into a hot bath likely won't be an option, you can spruce up your senses with some scented towels.

And, remember, if the worst happens, you may not have access to ANY water.  So, if you want to stay as clean as possible, you're going to need a self-contained way to do it.  Luckily, our individually-wrapped, pre-moistened scented towels offer just that.

Who says you can't have a little bit of luxury in the middle of a disaster?!

4 Awesome Uses for Scented Towels You Haven't Thought Of

4 Awesome Uses for Scented Towels You Haven't Thought Of

If you think our scented towels are only great for a cross-country airline trip, think again.  We've come up with 4 not-so-common but equally-awesome ways to use them!

Go ahead and pass them out as:

1.  Wedding favors

If you want to give your guests a treat that they can use to cool off during your ceremony by the sea (or, maybe, to fight off the post-reception hangover!), scented towels are a great idea.  They're refreshing, luxurious, and innovative -- the same things you want everyone to think about your wedding!

2.  Post-marathon gifts

If your best friend just made it through 26.2 miles -- and crossed a major milestone off of her Bucket List to boot -- why not give her the gift of luxury?  Since our scented towels are all pre-moistened, they'll provide a cool post-run treat.  The scent will offer her some instant rejuvenation amidst the post-run exhaustion.  And, if you give her some to use later, she can heat them up and use them to soothe her aching muscles.  Does it get any better than that?!

3.  Volunteer treats

If your non-profit agency just completed a kick-butt fundraising event, you've probably got a bunch of tired, sweaty volunteers!  If you want to truly show your appreciation for all of their hard work, give them something they can use to pamper themselves.

4.  Picnic finishing touches

So you've enjoyed a yummy meal out in the country… now what?  If you're like us, you hate the thought of using paper moist towelettes (after all, they're bad for the environment and not exactly soft on your skin!).  So, clean up and cool off with a scented towel instead!
