3 Air Travel Trips to Make Your Holidays Better

If you have to hop on a plane this holiday season, it may not feel like the most wonderful time of the year.  While the kids are jingle belling and everyone's telling you to be of good cheer, you can REALLY feel that way if you follow these 3 flying tips:

1.  Keep your skin hydrated
If you think the cold winter air is bad for your skin, try combining it with dry airplane air!  Linger in either one long enough, and you'll wind up with dry patches, a dull complexion, and skin that's downright itchy.

In order to keep your skin from screaming for mercy, keep it hydrated.  For example, dab your face with one of our scented towels at take-off and landing.  Or, wash off your makeup with one of our remover wipes before the cabin door closes.  Each one has special conditioners in it that will quench your skin's thirst.

2.  Avoid the peaks
A scented towel can refresh your senses in the middle of a busy airport, but do yourself a favor and avoid traveling on peak days -- like the day before Thanksgiving or the Sunday night before everyone has to be back at work.  Flying this time of year can be stressful enough, so do everything possible not to add to it!

3.  Keep movin'
We created ScentedTowel.com after spending countless hours in the air for business.  So, we know that sitting immobile for too long (like during a long flight) can make you more prone to blood clots.  That's why you've got to move around!

While you don't normally associate airplanes with leg room, you'll still have room to move your feet and ankles without bothering anyone around.  And, you can always take a trip or two to the bathroom to stretch your legs out.

What is a "Good" Makeup Remover?

There are all kinds of products out there that claim to remove your makeup in the very best way possible.  But all makeup removers aren't created equally.  If you want to make sure you've got a "good" makeup remover, make sure that it:

-  Isn't abrasive
You need to remove your makeup, not scrub bugs off your windshield!  A good makeup remover won't have to assault your skin in order to get it clean.  Instead, it will have the right combination of bacteria-killing ingredients so that your face will be squeaky clean -- instead of screaming for mercy.

For example, our makeup remover wipes have Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate in them -- a cleanser that fights bacteria gently.  It won't make you feel like there are a million tiny scrub brushes assaulting your face when you use it.

-  Isn't too oily
Good makeup removers will have some kind of oil in them to help moisturize your skin.  However, if they're TOO oily, they'll leave residue behind -- meaning your skin won't be able to breathe.  That's why we only put two oily ingredients in our makeup remover wipes.  The other five ingredients will make sure that those oily liquids don't wind up suffocating your pores.

-  Isn't completely synthetic
Mother Nature has created a bunch of things that can keep your face clean and fresh, so if your makeup remover isn't using them, you're really missing out!  Sure, there are some synthetic ingredients that are really valuable (like the ones we've included in our own makeup remover wipes), but there are also a lot of organic substances that are great, gentle cleansers.  So, look for a makeup remover that uses a unique combination of both!
